Breathe Deep & Self-Care

Breathe Deep JPEG.jpg

Choose not to chase self-care.

Choose to live a life that doesn’t need it.

So normally my argument is to work on creating a life that doesn’t need to chase self-care. But we are living in unprecedented times my friends and I realize that it may not be easy to create that life right now with familiar patterns and habits out the window.

But maybe - it is the perfect time to figure out how to create that life! I believe we are in a transition timeframe. Now is a good time to figure out what things speak to us from a self-care point of view AND what new rhythms we want to create around self-care. Plus - self-care is super important right now to help complete the stress response cycle.

It’s also good to note that self-care can be more than bubble baths and candles. It can be about having deep connection time, movement, enjoying food (cooking and/or eating), play/creativity time, etc.

Here are some suggestions of members that are local, small businesses that you can reach out to get assistance and/or try on some new self-care practices!
